No experience necessary, we will train you.With an increase in students registered for the new term, we are creating a number of new roles to join our education team. As a Community Teaching Assistant, you won't be confined to a classroom. You'll teach some amazing people, aged between 16 and 25 whose learning difficulties or autism mean that mainstream education won't always meet their needs. Using a tailored curriculum, we teach what is important for the individual: key life skills and appropriate lessons in literacy, numeracy and ICT. You'll be based in the Aylesbury area, working 39 weeks a year 38 hours per week.Every day is different but one thing is the same: the achievement you will feel as you watch young people blossom into adulthood. For us, underlying ability and attitude are just as important as background and experience.If you have not worked in the field of education before then please don't be put off. We can provide all of the specialist training you need, but we can't train you to have initiative, to be friendly and patient, and those are essential qualities for this work.You must be a driver with your own transport, willing and able to travel across the area, supporting young people from their own homes.
