Plus all our giffgaffers come together at our legendary giffgaff summer, birthday and Christmas celebrations.The role and the team Our BI and Optimisation team at giffgaff owns analytics, data visualisation and our CRO process from end-to-end. The BI team works with all other teams in the business to provide analytics, data visualisations and Insights for strategic decision making. The Optimisation team partners with our Product teams to help them deliver the best experiences on our website and app and help them measure their performance.As Senior Analytics Manager you’ll be co-managing the analytics side of the team. Alongside your job share, you’ll be responsible for a team of 4 analysts, helping them to grow and fulfil the needs of their stakeholders.You’ll be working across the entire business including Commerce, Marketing and Product teams, helping teams to drive growth and address problems. Through storytelling, you will share insights and recommendations, and then work alongside the Optimisation team to execute those ideas.Key responsibilities Manage the Analytics team alongside your job share partner to ensure stakeholders have access to key pieces of actionable insight across areas such as retention and marketingCollaborate with your job share to create an analytics team strategy to ensure the team stays engagedAnalyse, collate and present data to senior members of staff and leadershipSkills, experience and attitudes Highly knowledgeable about analyticsAdvanced knowledge of SQL (any variety is fine) and a visualisation tool like TableauAdvanced knowledge of ExcelKnowledge of Google Analytics (or similar) and A/B testing is a bonus but not requiredDependable with strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skillsOur commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion At giffgaff we want to challenge the old way of doing things.
