Class 1 Driver - Ongoing

CLASS 1 (C+E) DRIVERS WANTED - ONGOING WORK Location: Liverpool Our client, based in Liverpool, is looking for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers who are willing to do palletised store deliveries around the UK. They are looking for both AM and PM drivers. They have the shift availability for weekdays and weekends. They are looking to book drivers for at least 1.5 - 3 months in advance. THE JOB This job requires the driver to pass an induction / assessment. The induction is PAID The job involves making palletised store deliveries around the UK. Trailers can be single or double deck. Usually it will be a double deck trailer. This job involves the use of (usually) a manual pump truck to unload the trailers. There is no loading required Average shift length is approx 10-12 hours per day Day shift start times are between 0300am - 0800am Afternoon Shifts start times are between (Apply online only)pm Pay Rates (PAYE Holiday Included Weekdays £18.70 ph Weekend £21.25 ph + £10 meal allowance / day WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A DRIVER: We are looking for committed drivers looking for ongoing work. Must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence. For Insurance purposes you will need to have no more than 3 minor points on your licence. For Insurance purposes you will need to have 12 months HGV Driving experience WHY TEMP WITH SEARCH?
