Head of Industrial Site Services

What you'll be doing; Leading Veolia’s Industrial Site Services (ISS) across the UK, defining the medium to long-term strategy for the business. Responsibility for achieving year on year profitable growth opportunities within a national market, working closely with business development, to win and renew business with large and complex clients. Overseeing the delivery of all existing contracts and services. Driving safety culture, profit, demonstrating a strong commercial and financial acumen, whilst delivering on customer service. Leading the working together between ISS and decommissioning businesses to create opportunities on projects, ensuring future pipeline business growth is achieved and exceeded, and to drive synergies. Translating the business strategy into meaningful and tangible actions for teams to connect with. Working with HR to create succession plans to strengthen the region and develop talent from within. Being a key member of the leadership team and ISS Steering Committee and liaising with unions where necessary.
What we're looking for; Experience of leading and managing a large unionised workforce as well as operational businesses. Seasoned leader with demonstrable track-record of leading high-performance, cross-functional teams. Significant experience of leading and driving transformation and change. Extensive experience of leading and influencing across a large matrixed environment. Significant experience of leading an outstanding H&S culture. Previous experience working within the Industrial Services sector. Knowledge of decommissioning is advantageous. A highly capable problem solver with the ability to analyse reports, make business cases, understand financial results, forecast and budgets. Ability to evaluate commerciality of risks within contracts.
