Will you be happy to run interventions, take groups out of classes and do 1:1 support? Would you know how to teach phonics? THE ROLE- Year 1 intervention TA Being a Year 1 intervention TA requires you to run interventions with the children, to be able to take groups out of class and to offer 1:1 reading, speech and language support. Also, working with children with ASD, and who have Speech and Language needs and EAL. The children you will be working with will be 5 to 6 years old. THE SCHOOL- Year 1 intervention TA The primary school is an exceptional place where children aged 3-11 are treated with respect and dignity. The amazing school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted with their personal development being judged as ‘Outstanding. The community school is in Harrow, where you can travel by public transport, such as underground and overground station and bus routes.
