Job Reference - JR1858 Vacancy - Internal Sales Executive Location - Crawley area, West Sussex Industry - Lighting and Electrical Wholesaler Working Hours - Monday to Friday only (no weekends) Salary - attractive salary from £32,000 upwards + bonuses (negotiable) Do you want to work for a forward thinking and ambitious business in the electrical wholesale industry? Rhodium Consulting are recruiting for an internal telephone sales person for this successful and growing lighting and electrical distributor. The role will involve working in a small team of people dealing with pricing enquiries, technical queries and sales orders. This team are proactive, dynamic and hard working and have proved a successful combination ensuring success in earning their additional bonuses. You will be working in the sales office with the occasional dealing with customers at the trade counter. Some of the role will be reactive calls dealing with incoming queries whilst there is also the requirement for outbound proactive sales calls to win new business. Responsibilities will include: Handling enquiries Raising Quotations for customer orders Customer terms Progressing queries Purchase orders Reactive and proactive telephone sales Use of computer system including quotations, enquiries, picking notes, back orders Ad hoc duties as required There is the possibility of a promotion to an Assistant Manager role for an ambitious and driven individual. Skills Required: Electrical wholesale sales experience Computer literate (inc Microsoft Office) Enjoys speaking to people on the phone Coping with pressures and setback Personal Qualities Required: Reliable and committed working attitude A hard working team player. A self-motivated person who understands the importance of getting the job done and responding to the customer as promised Efficient and effective Should be punctual, well presented and like to operate in a clean and tidy manner. Positive with a friendly “can do” attitude. A good listener who is keen to learn, develop new skills and “get on” in the business. Thoughtful and resourceful, someone who enjoys solving problems. It is essential that you have good electrical wholesale industry sales experience. It will be advantageous if you have good customer contacts - a better basic salary would potentially be available for you. You will have a good understanding of the electrical wholesale industry and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people.
