We are looking for experienced Behaviour Support and Care Workers to join our School in Leicester! This is an exciting opportunity to support children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, Complex Needs, and challenging behaviour. Your Experience Matters! We welcome applicants with both personal and professional experience in supporting children and young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or Autism. Whether you’ve worked in education, alternative provisions, youth work, children’s residential care, social care, or even as a security or prison officer, your skills are valued! Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support and Care Worker: Provide 1:1 support to children with challenging behaviour, Social and Emotional Mental Health needs, Autism, and those who have been through the care system. Develop and implement individualised behaviour interventions. Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times. Requirements of a Behaviour Support and Care Worker: Experience in supporting Social Emotional and Mental Health, Autism, Complex Needs, and challenging behaviour. Personal and professional experience will be considered. Should have experience working with children, young people or young adults with mental health requirements, challenging behaviour or Autism. Available immediately Must have a Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service. – If you don’t already have a DBS, we can help you apply for one. Available for Full-Time Work – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm (NON-NEGOTIABLE). We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
