Seafreight Clerk (m/f/d)

For our subsidiary COSCO SHIPPING Logistics (UK) Limited, located in London Gateway, UK, we are looking for an experienced Seafreight Clerk (m/f/d). Key Responsibilities: • Receive documents and shipment notifications, and reference jobs within the forwarding system (e.g., Datafreight). • Provide correspondence to customers using the appropriate communication methods. • Liaise with suppliers through suitable communication channels. • Manage payments to shipping lines. • Arrange releases with shipping lines and coordinate transport. • Collect Duty/VAT funds for non-account customers. • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as needed. What We're Looking For: • Experience with Port Community Systems (Destin8 /CNS) is desirable but not essential. • Strong skills in MS Office, with intermediate-level proficiency in Excel or higher. • Must have own transport due to the location and nature of the role.
