National Shipping Operations Manager
Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to 53,000pa (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 17:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Import Operations Staff across multiple sites.
- Maximize carrier haulage utilization and profitability.
- Ensure full utilization of GB carrier haulage capacity.
- Assist with Account Management and provide excellent Customer Service.
- Oversee Import CSR Delivery and Release.
- Ensure all KPI's are met and exceeded across managed Teams.
- Handle all customer rate requests and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Recommend and advise on solutions for any issues that arise.
- Implement and enforce company policies for Import deep-sea and other container trades related to UK imports.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience working for a UK based Shipping Line is essential.
- Previous experience working in Container Operations.
- Previous Import Operation experience.
- Extensive Leadership Experience within the Shipping and Logistics Industry.
- Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
