Join us as a Fund Governance and Oversight Associate If you have an in-depth understanding of the financial services sector with a specific focus on investment funds, this is a great opportunity to join us We’ll look to you to support the oversight and governance of activities of our fund management company, including third party administration providers Hone your existing financial skills and advance your career in this exciting, fast paced role This is a remote-first role, so you’ll spend most of your time at home, working with your team digitally and coming?into the office or attending third party offices when you need to collaborate closely with your colleagues or attend meetings What you'll do As a Fund Governance and Oversight Associate, you’ll be overseeing third party administration and governance processes and procedures to ensure management company compliance. You’ll be reviewing service level agreements and contractual requirements for our service providers, while also working with Legal and Supply Chain Services to agree changes and make sure that costs remain within budget. Along with this, you’ll be: Reviewing the delivery of regulatory changes at third party providers and making sure processes used by third party administrators are appropriate Supporting oversight visits on all delegated outsourced functions, including initial planning and creating reports that highlight actions and maintain exit plans for third party administrators Making sure evidential standards and record management requirements are in place, including implementing and managing the documentation retention process for regulatory documents, contracts, communications, reviews, governance meetings and projects The skills you'll need We’re looking for someone with experience of the asset management industry, and the regulatory and commercial environment. Along with this, you’ll have an in-depth understanding of the investment product market, its competitive dynamics and how they influence customer behaviour and our commercial imperatives. On top of this, you’ll bring: An in-depth understanding of the financial services sector with a specific focus on investment funds A proven track record of end-to-end third party oversight Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence at senior management level The ability to analyse and evaluate complex information to help sound decision making Strong knowledge of relevant legal policies, regulations and risk management
