Sensor Integration Engineer

Utilise your expertise in sensors to conduct complex weapons systems design, testing and debugging.   This well-established defence company that produces military weapons systems will reward your hard work significantly with bonuses, annual salary reviews and paid overtime among other benefits.   As a Sensor Integration Engineer, you will integrate a variety of sensors with the Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation to test real weapons systems.   To Be Suitable for This Role You Will Ideally Have: Breadth of engineering knowledge with deeper experience in a few of the following areas: System performance analysis, interface debugging and system integration Design and testing of Radio Frequency or Infra-red Inertial sensor design or testing Understanding of microcontrollers Knowledge of Linux You must be eligible to obtain or already hold security clearance  Key Information: Role: Sensor Integration Engineer Salary: £35,000–£55,000 plus bonus and benefits Location: Stevenage – 80% on-site working with world-class equipment  You will be successful in this role if you have a significant understanding of different sensors, you prefer working in a laboratory environment and you enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.   Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens.
