They are now looking for a Head of Business Support to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

This is a unique opportunity for a proactive health and safety management professional with experience in residential property or facilities management to join our client's mission-driven organisation.
You'll play a vital role in championing health and safety across their organisation, directly contributing to their mission of providing safe, empowering environments for vulnerable women and children.

The Role
As the Head of Business Support, you will provide expert advice and guidance to ensure our client can meet their statutory responsibilities and continue to deliver safe, high-quality support to their service-users.
Acting as the subject matter expert on health and safety, you'll ensure compliance with all regulations, official standards and best practice and provide innovative solutions to address existing and potential issues, driving a positive health and safety culture across the organisation.
You'll manage the Business Support Team, ensuring all properties and spaces, including two owned properties and leased/managed properties, remain safe and well-equipped for staff and service users.
Additionally, you will:
- Line manage the Facilities Manager and Office Co-ordinator
- Compile regular quality and H&S reports
- Undertake regular H&S inspections and investigate safety concerns
- Develop H&S communication programmes
- Manage the H&S reporting system and external IT support provider
About You
To be considered as a Head of Business Support, you will need:
- Health and safety management experience in residential property, social housing, maintenance or facilities
- Experience managing health and safety databases and using IT systems
- Knowledge of contractor management
- An awareness of health, safety and environmental impacts and management
- The ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
- An IOSH managing safely qualification
- A NEBOSH National General Certification
- To hold, or be working towards, Chartered status of IOSH (or an equivalent membership body)
- A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
