Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Accounts Semi Senior or Accounts Senior to play a pivotal role within the team. You’ll be responsible for servicing a diverse range of clients, providing essential accounting services, and supporting junior team members. Key Responsibilities: Preparing accounts and financial statements for a range of clients, from SMEs to large enterprises. Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts, tax returns, and management accounts. Conducting VAT returns and bookkeeping for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Liaising with clients and providing them with proactive advice and guidance on financial matters. Mentoring and supporting junior team members to develop their skills and enhance team performance. Assisting with client audits and ensuring regulatory compliance is met. What We’re Looking For: Relevant qualifications (AAT, ACA, ACCA part-qualified or qualified) and experience within a similar role in an accountancy practice. Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and tax legislation. Proficient in accounting software (such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills, with a client-focused approach and the ability to build strong client relationships.
