Cyber Security Architect – Senior Consultant

A growing Tech consultancy is looking for Cyber Security Architects to join their team to help build an architecture consulting function, working on a range of projects across industries, including an exciting project within UK national Security.

Are you a Cyber Security Architect with a passion for strengthening security resilience and keen to take on a new challenge building a function? This could be the role for you!

Responsibilities of a Cyber Security architect:

• Leading client engagements as a subject matter expert in Cyber Security and assessing/ managing their needs.
• Adapting industry best practice to design solutions that pragmatically solve cyber security problems.
• Designing and implementing security management strategies, ensuring security principles are applied during design and development to reduce security and business risk, whilst considering business strategies and benefits
• Developing and communicating corporate information security policy, standards and guidelines.
• Developing new architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices, alongside documentation of logical designs, High Level Designs (HLDs) & Low Level Designs (LLDs).
• Helping to support & grow the team/organisation including company strategy.

Requirements:

• Hands on experience reviewing and designing complex systems
• Strong working understanding of a range of regulations, frameworks and industry standards (ISO27001, NIST, TOGAF, CAF, SbD)
• Experience Leading teams and projects
• Consultancy background is very helpful
• strong interpersonal skills and communication both written and verbal
• MUST be eligible for UK security clearance at SC or above.
