Quality Manager

Quality Manager Coventry £30,000 - £36,000 per annum Days – both full time & part time available Permanent Role Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager for a Manufacturing company based in Coventry. This is an exciting position suited to candidates experienced within Precision Manufacturing, that have started their career within Inspection and worked up into a management position. Role responsibilities – * For the role of Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's ISO9000 Quality and Health & Safety functions as well as various aspects of the facility management and maintenance. * Working in close co-operation with the Directors, Section Managers and Staff this individual must ensure the practical and pragmatic application of Quality and H&S systems. The Quality Manager must ensure compliance with the necessary processes and legislation whilst at the same time maintaining the efficient and flexible operation of the company. * For the Quality Manager role, you will be key in the implementation and management of the company Quality and H&S processes, businesses expenditure, personnel issues and site housekeeping as may be assigned to him/her and as directed by the Board from time to time. * Conduct & maintain internal quality audits. * Conduct & maintain internal Health & Safety audits. * Liaise with external Health & Safety consultants. * Manage the quality inspector on site. * Manage and maintain safety related issues and records including COSHH, LOLER, SEMA First Aid, health screening, PATS testing, equipment inspection and calibration etc. * Manage the building/facility including arranging building and/or machinery repair & maintenance, security system functionality, fire alarm system functionality etc. * Liaise with both customers and suppliers on quality and certification related issues. * Arrange any necessary training courses and maintain training records. * Manage the new employee induction process. * In the absence of the Quality Inspector, handle goods inward and final inspection duties. * For the role of Quality Manager, you will attend internal and external meetings and training as necessary & identified by the Directors. Role requirements – * You will be experienced within a management role for the role of Quality Manager. * For the role of Quality Manager, you will have a background within Quality Inspection. * Experience with ISO9000 or ISO9001 is essential to be considered. * Experience completing Quality and Health & Safety Audits is required.
