CDS Group Services Ltd is a 60m nationwide main contractor, shopfitter and manufacturer based in Romsey.

We welcome applicants who are outcome driven and have excellent people skills.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Officer who is Midlands based and able to join us on a Full Time basis.

Site Safety

The Key Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Officer:

Work closely with CDS QHSE manager to:

Carry out on-site audits covering quality, H&S and environmental

Identification of key risks and corrective action

Implement improvements from audits

Build collaborative relationships with site teams

Trend gathering, analysis, improvement identification and plans

H&S related support e.g. O&M compilation

Core Qualifications/Experience:

NEBOSH

3+ years site experience

. Full Driving Licence

Preferable:

Rooftop awareness

Scaffold awareness

Environmental

SSSTS

Skills and Competencies:

. Must be willing to travel (role involves frequent travel)

HSQE experience

Outcome thinking and business-wide awareness

Sustainability experience preferable

Planned and reactive site presence

Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective and preventative measures

Relationship management

Coaching

Improvement driven

High standard of communication (written and verbal)

Process driven

Measures of Success:

Number of QHSE audits

Audit score improvements (from data)

Ops & Subcontractor H&S improvement

Positive QHSE employee culture
