We are working with a fantastic client based in the Wilburton area who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caretaker/Site Manager to join their estates team. Typical duties would include: General maintenance of premises, redecorating and cleaning Monitoring external cleaners, litter picking and keeping site appearance to standard Opening and locking up Key holding Fire Safety and Health and Safety Compliance Fixing and notifying management of any damages or repairs required Prepare the premises for lettings and community use and other after school activities Ensuring that all stakeholders adhere to the schools Health and Safety Policies and Procedures. Respond to emergency call outs Be responsible for general care/maintenance of the school swimming pool. Working Hours: 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday 3.5 hours each day are split before and after school, between 7.00 8.00am and 3.00 6.30pm, plus a further 5 hours per week undirected (this may include occasional weekends.) The successful candidate: Previous caretaking experience would be preferred. Well organised with a high level of attention to detail. Some manual handling would be required Proficient in English to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and two appropriate references.
