HGV Mechanic Days Location: Heywood Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic to join a large logistics organisation. As a HGV Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring that their fleet is kept in top condition, performing repairs, maintenance, and inspections to keep everything running smoothly. Working hours will be 06:00 to 18:00 on a 4 on 4 off static day shift pattern. In this role you will complete varied tasks which include: * Diagnose faults and carry out repairs * Maintain, repair and service units and trailers to MOT standards * Making sure vehicle cleaning requirements are up to standard before MOT service * Repairing defects * General basic garage duties * Dealing with breakdowns nationwide What we are looking for: * Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVS * Class 1 licence is desirable * Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload If you are ready for your next step please click the link below and we can get an interview boooked in now
