Class 1 Hgv Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting empty IBCs to be cleaned and returning clean IBCs back to site safely and efficiently. This role is for our valued client, who are looking to make it a permanent role for the right candidate. Candidate MUST HAVE 2 years HGV CLASS 1 Driving experience to be considered for this role, so please don't apply if this doesn't apply to you. Successful candidate will work via ourselves for the next 13 weeks before transferring over to the client's payroll. Duties - Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances - Load and unload cargo - Follow traffic laws and regulations - Inspect lorries before and after trips - Maintain accurate driving logs - Communicate with dispatchers and team members Experience - 2 Years checkable previous experience as a HGV Class 1 commercial driver is essential - Valid commercial driving licence required - Proven track record as a reliable delivery driver Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm Contract length: 13 weeks Pay: £14.50-£19.65 per hour Expected hours: No more than 56 per week Benefits: * Company pension * Free parking * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends * Overtime Experience: * Commercial driving: 2 years (required) * Driving: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (required) * Category CE Licence (required)
