Transport Support Manager Location: Runcorn Salary: £30,633k Hours: Rotating shift pattern of 6am – 2pm / 2pm -10pm / 10pm – 6am / 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday Job Type: Temp to Perm Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting for a Transport Support Manager for a national logistics chain based in Runcorn. This is a temp-to-perm position, reporting directly to the Transport Manager—an ideal opportunity for someone seeking further training and development within the logistics industry. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing both the core fleet and sub-contractors to ensure deliveries are completed. Address and manage delivery issues with both internal and contracted drivers. Communicate any issues to relevant departments and sites. Plan and allocate drivers and vehicles, ensuring compliance with EC regulations and WTD (Working Time Directive). Assist with the control of vehicle maintenance.Requirements: Previous experience in the transport industry. Strong knowledge of WTD and tachograph regulations. Previously used ESPI/GTS System Methodical approach with attention to administrative detail.
