Our client is a local construction firm specialising in high-profile commercial and residential projects. They are seeking an experienced Envelope Manager to join the team team and manage the external fa ade and envelope works on a major city centre development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of external envelope works, including fa ades, cladding, roofing, and glazing
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to safety standards
  • Liaise with design teams, architects, and engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring envelope works align with overall project timelines
  • Monitor budgetary constraints, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising on quality
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed on-site
  • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing solutions to avoid delays

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years Site Management experience
  • Proven experience in envelope or fa ade management
  • Knowledge of cladding systems, roofing, and external finishes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial or residential developments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management or equivalent
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
