Project Controls Engineer

They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team. Their ideal candidate will have considerable experience and a strong knowledge of control systems and automated systems. Due to providing on-site testing and commissioning for clients, the role will require a full, clean UK Driving Licence. In return, they are offering up to c£60,000 per annum D.O.E. along with a very generous benefits package including flexible working hours (see below in Vacancy Summary) and holidays, paid birthday off, an employee wellbeing program, and more Roles and Responsibilities Design control systems Develop and implement SCADA systems and PLC code Prepare documents ready for clients and engineers Travel on-site to commission and test control systems Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering best practices, and industry regulations Liaise with clients, team members, and management at multiple levels Provide end user training Skills and Experience Strong technical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and automated systems Demonstrable Engineering experience including instilling best practices and following industry regulations Considerable experience working with control systems in an industrial environment Strong communication abilities, both written and verbally, including being able to communicate with clients, team members, and management at all levels Full, clean UK Driving Licence About Express Recruitment Express Recruitment has been offering exceptional recruitment solutions across the East Midlands since 1987, “exceeding expectations every time” of over 267,000 candidates.
