Position: Telecoms Sales Manager (PR-1280772)Location: London Area - Hybrid 3 days per weekSalary: Basic salary of £50k+ bonus (depending on experience)Job purposeWe are working with a UK-based Unified Communications company, built off the ethos of "If they build it, they will come", from which they have built solid relationships within their company and wider group for over 20 years, being a trusted partner in their clients' IT solutions. Now they are looking to bring on their first salesperson to start building relationships outside of their already successful referrals and customer expansion, as that can only go so far!You will be building the sales function effectively from the bottom up, however, you see being most effective in bringing in new customers, so it will require a degree of self-sufficiency, they can do the IT stuff, and they will leave the selling to you!Main responsibilities and dutiesLead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for generating new leads and acquiring clients through various channels, including direct outreach, business networking events, industry events, social media platforms, and email marketing.Account Management: Actively maintain established customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with our services and identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell the company's range of products.Market Research: Investigate new business opportunities, trends, and directions within the SME telecoms sector, focusing on understanding customers likely needNegotiation and Deal Closure: Skillfully negotiate commitment and growth deals to secure long-term business and revenue growth, effectively closing deals and achieving sales targets.Sales Structure Development: Design and implement a comprehensive internal sales framework, creating clear processes for the future team to follow.Requirements:Experience as a seller in the SME market: You have experience selling to SME clients, building relationships, and developing a knowledge of their needsAn interest in Technology: You have a keen interest in technology, with the ability to quickly grasp and leverage new solutions to benefit our clientsMotivated and Self-Driven: You demonstrate a strong drive to achieve and surpass goals, with an internal drive to succeedTelecom or Technology Sector Experience: A background in the telecom or technology industries is highly desirable, providing a strong foundation for understanding product offerings and client needs
