Service Engineer

Location: Saffron Walden (CB11) Duration: Permanent Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 Job Reference: 35389 Polytec are looking for a Service Engineer for our client based in Saffron Walden. This is a role involving service, repair and installation of products and is office based with regular UK and international travel. Responsibilities: * Telephone support and remote diagnostics of products to identify issues and take necessary action * Pre and post sales technical support * Servicing and repair of equipment in-house or on-site both UK and internationally * Manage customer relationships resolving critical situations promptly * Assist with managing service parts inventory levels * Service training for staff and distributors * Installations and user training Requirements: * At least 3 years' experience working in an equipment service environment, ideally with laboratory instrumentation * Broad experience of providing service and support to customers * Experience of working to necessary Health and Safety requirements * Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and instruction manuals * IT literate competent using Microsoft Office * Full UK driving license Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
