We are seeking a skilled and responsible Coach Driver to join our team at Tetley's Coaches. As a Coach Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to their destinations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our passengers' comfort and satisfaction throughout their journey. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate our coaches, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable journey experience. Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the coach both inside and out. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip walk round checks of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards. Communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues to ensure smooth coordination during trips. Handle any passenger inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain accurate tachograph records. Requirements: A Valid PCV licence with category D entitlement and have a CPC qualification card. Previous experience as a coach or bus driver Excellent driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety. Customer-focused attitude with exceptional communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Strong attention to detail and a responsible attitude towards vehicle maintenance. Must pass background checks and drug/alcohol screenings. Rate of pay: Monday to Friday £13.50 + £1 per hour summer bonus** Saturday and Sunday £15 + £1 per hour summer bonus** **Summer bonus scheme runs in the months of May, June and July Contractual Hours Full time : 35 hours a week + overtime (Overtime is paid weekly) Part time : 25 hours per week + overtime (Overtime is paid weekly) Casual : Zero hours Bonuses Qualifying Rugby jobs £25 day bonus Qualifying Football Jobs £50 day bonus Bank Holidays Weekend rate applies Boxing Day/New Years Day £75 in addition to the weekend rate Overnight allowance £25 tax free Employee benefits: Average pay for holidays over 52 week reference period Paid medicals Annual driver CPC training Company pension scheme Smart uniform Modern fleet Company pays for your first tachograph card Company paid full enhanced DBS check On site parking Joining a reputable company with a supportive team environment.
