About the role: We are looking for a compassionate and positive SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to join our team. This full-time, long-term role offers a wonderful opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our SEMH students, helping them reach their full potential. Application Requirements: • Experience working with students with SEMH needs preferred. • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, patient demeanor. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs and SEMH. • A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them succeed. Key Responsibilities: • Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, helping them manage their emotions and behaviours effectively. • Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies. • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting emotional well-being and academic progress. • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality support and interventions. • Engage with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to each student’s development.
