At an operational level, you will own theS&OP; definition for short distance middle mile activities, ensuringdevelopment of a capacity feasible plan in alignment with the strategicpriorities of Amazon. At strategic level, you will be responsible for drivingoperational improvement and change initiatives in collaboration with multiplestakeholders and in alignment with senior management. As S&OP; expert, you will work on highly ambiguous and complex problems todeliver actionable results and collaborate with other teams to maximizeimpact. To be effective in this role, you need to work with the internal teamsto define business requirements, dive deep in the details to buildsophisticated models and tools that support operational decision making. Therole is inherently cross-functional and the responsibilities include workingacross organizations. This is a role that requires to be comfortable wearing multiple hats, haveentrepreneurial mindset and collaborative with different teams. Key job responsibilities • Design, manage and execute S&OP; cycle for TAP program • Design and implement Intra-week planning process to increase TAP attainmentand improve resource utilization • Work closely with wider teams including network planning, capacity planning,ATS supply mix, operations to continuously optimize for customer experienceand linehaulshunting efficiency • Integrate known future events and constraint management into a weeklyplanning process routine • Manage operational issues with our linehaul partners, resolving operationalqueries in a prompt and efficient manner • Drive regional S&OP; strategic operational (e.g. process, tools, etc.) anddevelopment initiatives • Contribute towards the quarterly strategic planning process • Present operational and project updates to senior management About the team EU Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a high-powered, dynamic team whichis developing and applying innovative solutions to improve and enhance theAmazon transportation network to ultimately drive the best customer experiencein a reliable and cost-efficient manner, every time. Our team is looking foran experienced Program Manager with a strong analytical background to deliverdata driven solutions. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree - Experience owning programme strategy, end to end delivery, andcommunicating results to senior leadership - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Relevant experience leading complex projects with a wide range ofstakeholders, including your peers and leadership - Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Advanced or master’s degree - Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar - Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma orLean - Experience working in an operational environment or with technical teams Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
