We have a great new opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join us to provide support to the Head of Legal for Informa Markets.Main responsibilities of the role:supporting Head of Legal with BAU activitiesresponding to ad hoc legal queries from the Informa Markets divisiondrafting and negotiating a diverse range of commercial contracts (including event venue contracts, customer terms and conditions, supply agreements spanning the supply chain, IT agreements, marketing agreements, contra-agreements, licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, procurement RFPs with associated terms and collaboration agreements), advising on IP issues and resolution of disputesparticular focus on arrangements with data processors (ensuring contracts are robust and required data processing addendums are in place)working with Compliance and others functions on discrete compliance and internal audit projects if required, such as data protection, anti-bribery and corruption, health and safety and sanctionsengagement with colleagues from all areas of the business (both customer-facing and support) and external stakeholderssupervision of junior Legal Team membersQualificationsA qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post-qualification experience. PQE is given as a guide only.
