The candidate will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans, action plans and strategies
Meet or exceed defined sales targets
Maintain open communication and collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including Product, Sales Planning, etc. to maximize revenue
Directly contributing to product development process through active participation in product reviews by providing market & client insights
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers of dealers and customers
Develop leads and build the pipeline
Negotiate pricing, prepare proposals and close sale
Partner with the Account Management team to service, maintain and grow current clients
Sales payment collection
Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
Qualifications
Solid Sales Experience with construction machinery (ideally excavators)
Solid quota carrying sales experience
Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A great work ethic
