about the position of Process Engineering Manager
As Process Engineering Manager, you will report to the Technical Director and lead a team of engineers in driving new product introductions. You'll collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to implement continuous improvements and oversee process qualification, verification, and validation for high-tech measurement products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Process Engineering team s daily activities.
- Drive new product launches and process improvements.
- Manage process development, validation, and verification.
- Train staff on new processes and manage pre-production builds.
- Automate processes and implement robotics.
- Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and assist in audits.
- Leadership experience in engineering.
- Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Strong validation and verification experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management.
- Willingness to travel.
- Electronics assembly and CE/EMC compliance knowledge.
- Experience with MRP systems, SPC, CNC, and injection moulding.
- Medical device and cleanroom experience.
- Salary: Up to £55k depending on experience plus a generous profit share paid twice a year
- 20 days holiday Plus bank holidays along with additional shutdown between Christmas & New Year (approximately 5 extra days leave). The annual increases with service.
