Steel Fixer

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for a Steel Fixer on behalf of our client based in Skelmersdale, WN8 AREA.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting complex drawings to determine the type and dimensions of steel required
• Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, welding, bolting or otherwise assembling and joining together various types of metals and alloys
• Working with concrete and construction materials
• Operating welding equipment to fuse metal segments
• Inspecting completed work for conformance to blueprint specifications and quality standards
• Clipping, wiring or welding structural steel materials into place

Skills:

• Previous experience in construction and factory settings
• Previous experience working with concrete

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 07:00AM to 17:00PM

Payrate: 16 Per Hour.
