Our client is a key player in the financial services and market intelligence sector and is on a powerful growth trajectory. In order to deliver growth across the portfolio of projects, they have created the position of Head of Marketing & Planning. WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE? This is an incredible opportunity for a talented senior Marketer to join a rapidly scaling business at an exciting period in our journey. Working closely with our newly appointed CMO, you’ll lead the product marketing function and have broader responsibilities in planning, budget management, reporting, digital marketing and campaign optimisation aligned to revenue targets. WHAT YOU'LL DO 1. Build and lead a best-in-class Product Marketing team that is data-driven and focused on outcomes aligned with our commercial objectives with a strong focus on supporting revenue growth around key customer segments. 2. Lead the development and growth of the company brand at every customer touch point, focusing on consistency and positive impact. Act as the brand guardian, ensuring a cohesive visual identity. 3. Plan, implement and monitor comprehensive campaign plans across the complete product portfolio (including acquired businesses), working closely with the Sales and Product Development teams. 4. Manage the digital marketing strategy and implementation, including marketing automation, SEM, email marketing, etc . Ensure marketing and sales activities are connected and optimised. 5. Effectively plan and manage the annual marketing budget, working closely with finance and reporting each month. 6. Manage relationships with external suppliers. 7. Manage two product marketing managers and build out additional talent over time. 8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, product developments, competitor messaging, and customer challenges. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field • At least 10 years of proven experience in a similar role within a financial services/SaaS environment • Deep B2B and B2C experience across digital marketing, brand management and product marketing • Excellent team management experience • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills • Creative and analytical skills • Planning and project management skills • Positive, entrepreneurial approach ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Your office base will be in London EC1 or Buckinghamshire (London Marylebone to Oxford line) on a hybrid basis. You will be expected to be in the office 2 to 3 times a week RIGHT TO WORK We are unable to provide Skilled Worker sponsorship for this role so you will need to already hold the right to work in the UK.
