General Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead a prestigious café located in the heart of Liverpool. If you are a hospitality professional with a passion for delivering outstanding service and managing a thriving team, this role is perfect for you.   About the Role: Location: Liverpool City Centre Hours: 40 to 48 per week, including weekends and evenings as needed Salary: Competitive, based on experience Service Style: Breakfast, lunch, bistro-style dining, and afternoon teas, catering to a diverse and upscale clientele Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Lead and inspire the front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional service, maintaining high standards of quality at all times. Operational Oversight: Manage the daily operations, including staffing, inventory, and customer service, to ensure a seamless guest experience. Customer Experience: Enhance guest satisfaction by responding to feedback, addressing any issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all. Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization, implementing strategies to drive sales growth. Team Training & Development: Onboard new staff, conduct regular training sessions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the café adheres to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Event Coordination: Organize and oversee special events such as afternoon teas and private functions, creating memorable experiences for guests.
