Role Overview This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join us as a Director of Business Development. Key Responsibilities * Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical, and Commercial sectors. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates. * Drive revenue growth through strategic business development and client acquisition. * Actively participate in filling roles and ensuring client satisfaction. * Build and lead a high-performing recruitment team as the business grows. * Provide strategic input and leadership to support the company’s growth objectives. Year 2: * Commission: Adjusted commission rate to support reinvestment in the business and team development. * Salary: A competitive base salary introduced after the first 12 months. * Equity: Equity stake in the company at the end of the second year, contingent on achieving agreed performance milestones. Ideal Candidate * Proven track record in business development, ideally within the recruitment industry. * Experience in the Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical, and Commercial sectors is highly desirable but other sectors will be considered. * Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing recruitment teams. * Strong network and ability to build lasting relationships with clients and candidates. * Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to the company’s long-term growth.
