Network Manager | £60,000 - £69,000 | Hybrid As the IT Network Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization’s network infrastructure. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our IT systems. You will work closely with other departments to support business operations, identify technology needs, and implement cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities : Network Management & Maintenance: Oversee the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks to ensure consistent, secure, and high-performance connectivity. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the network team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development. Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to manage hardware, software, and support contracts. Ensure all services meet business needs and are cost-effective. Project Management: Lead network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, expansions, and migrations. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Required Qualifications & Skills : Experience: Experience in network management or similar roles, with hands-on experience in managing complex IT infrastructures. Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant network certifications are highly desirable. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.), firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless technologies. Experience with cloud-based networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop IT teams, manage projects, and work collaboratively across departments. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex technical issues promptly. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon into business-friendly language.
