Freelance Site Engineer - Concrete Works (12-Month Contract) Outside IR35 Location: Sheffield Contract Start: Late November 2024 Contract Duration: 12 Months We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer that specializes in Concrete works to join a major civil engineering project starting in November 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and QA of RC and Concrete works over a 12 month period. Key Responsibilities: • Setting out reinforced concrete pits (3-10 meters deep), walls, and bases • Installation of embedded items, such as bolt groups and pipes • Supervising the construction of concrete slabs, drainage systems, pipework, and gullies • Ensuring accurate measurements and alignment for all reinforced concrete structures • Coordinating with Project Management team and Main Contractor Team • Maintaining and updating records, drawings, and site documentation • Perform QA/QC • Produce relevant documents and records The Candidate: • Site Engineer with a strong background in Civils and Concrete Works • Strong background in working with reinforced concrete structures and embedded items • Proficiency with Robotic Total Station and use of AutoCAD • A solid understanding of health and safety standards on construction sites • CSCS is essential for the role Apply now with an up to date CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds) for more info
