4 on 3 off 12 hour shift pattern.

We have partnered with a progressive business in Northampton, who are extending their team looking for a Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on plant, ensuring minimal disruption to production requirements.



Key Duties:

• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of plant and machinery
• Carry out any repairs or modifications to machinery as necessary
• Fit and assemble mechanical components during reactive or preventative maintenance tasks
• Work closely with the team to ensure minimal disruption to downtime across the site
• Carry out electrical fault-finding and root cause analysis to identify reoccurring issues

Requirements:

• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment including 18th Edition experience
• Demonstrable experience in 3 phase electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs
• Experience working with Compactors, Balers and Extruders highly desirable
• Ability to work independently
• Organisational skills & Attention to Detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to be flexible/multi-task based on workflow demands
• Critical thinking skills
