About the opportunity: We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to perform the following: * Prepare draft budgets and site start budgets for each project assigned to the Quantity Surveyor. * Generate quarterly valuations and conduct material “cost to complete” assessments for each site under the Quantity Surveyor’s responsibility. * Process sub-contract payments and final accounts, ensuring they are signed off by the sub-contractor. * Create sub-contract orders, ensuring they are authorized by the designated representative and include all necessary documentation to comply with Group Commercial Policy. * Manage cost control and monitor changes effectively. About the benefits and rewards: The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £55k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits. About the requirements: * Degree preferred * Performed a similar role within the construction industry * Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable * A keen interest in construction * Committed to inclusion and diversity * Ability to work on own as well as part of a team * Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines * IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems
