Role: Sales Co-ordinator Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience Location: High Lane, Stockport, SK6 8DX About Us: Marchington Stone based in High Lane, Stockport are a specialist supplier of construction and landscaping aggregates, to the building and civil engineering industry with over 50 years’ experience. Sales Co-ordinator – The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic team player to join our commercial team. You will guide the sales process from initial enquiry through to order, also providing support to our external sales team. Construction industry experience would be an advantage but isn’t an essential requirement. Training will be provided for our Products, Procedures and IT systems. Sales Co-ordinator – Key Responsibilities: - Develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and services - Deal with customers, pricing quotations and processing orders - Support our distribution team and liaising with our transport fleet - Demonstrate excellent email and telephone manner - Prioritise and multitask daily duties - Understand and assess customer needs - Represent the company and its core values - Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Sales Co-ordinator – You: - Previous experience in the construction sector is a bonus, but not required - Have a “can do” attitude and an enthusiastic, outgoing personality - Clear ambition to learn new skills and achieve personal and business KPIs - Able to develop knowledge of our sales process to sell our full range of products and services - Experienced with using SAP, CRM and Microsoft IT systems - Work collaboratively within a team to ensure tasks are completed quickly and to a high standard - Able to balance both the needs of the customer and our business requirements - Work with customers to provide suitable products - Understand and achieve commercial targets and profit margins You will also possess: - Good verbal and written communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills - Numeracy and analytical ability Sales Co-ordinator – Benefits: We believe in supporting our team with career development opportunities and great benefits, including: - Bonus scheme (Performance Related) - Enhanced holiday entitlement - Contributory pension scheme - Private Medical Insurance - Life Insurance - Employee Assistance Programme - Staff social events - Free, onsite secure parking To submit your application for this exciting opportunity, click ‘Apply’ now
