Senior Block Manager – South West London - £55k - Chartered Surveyors One Property Recruitment is seeking an experienced, personable senior block manager to join our client based in South-West London. Working for a renowned firm of Chartered Surveyors, you will be working on a local, portfolio comprised of period conversions and listed buildings. You will take pride in what you do and believe that customer service is the first step to success. Main Duties: * Oversee a local portfolio of properties, mainly period conversions, and listed buildings. * Take ownership of ensuring efficient day-to-day management and exceptional service delivery to clients and residents. * Set, manage, and implement budgets, paying key attention to financial management throughout the year whilst ensuring CAPEX plans are factored into budgets. * Foster positive relationships with clients, residents, and external stakeholders, addressing queries, resolving issues, and maintaining high levels of client retention. * Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate property management activities and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. * A good understanding or the RICS guidelines About You: * Previous experience in block management or a related field, with a strong understanding of property management principles and practices. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships and resolve conflicts. * Proficiency in service charge budgeting, financial management, and project coordination, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. TPI or AssocRICS membership or relevant qualifications are essential. * You are a team player who is self-motivated and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work.
