HR & Talent Manager Needed!

I am currently looking for a HR & Talent Manager to work across a portfolio of hospitality businesses in London! Responsibilities will include recruitment, training, development and HR across a group of stylish F&B businesses. An established and growing international brand with new exciting openings planned.


The HR & Talent manager will regularly liaise with the founders and ops team to support them with

recruitment on existing and new roles, and day to day issues they may have with their team. This will be as much about supporting, guiding and mentoring managers, as taking the lead on more complex matters.


Please note: A background in hospitality is a must for this role.


Responsibilities & Key Duties

  • Maintain an open-door policy where employees and managers are able to seek guidance on HR related queries as needed.
  • Be readily available to handle employee queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and retain talent.
  • Develop the employer brand.
  • Manage the onboarding process of new starters, including induction process.
  • Likewise, support Managers with the leavers process, including exit interviews/feedback where appropriate.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and incentives of interest to attract target employees.
  • Seek to reduce and minimize turnover and increase employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Respond to queries from managers on performance issues, help to mitigate poor performance and promote performance excellence.
  • Manage the coordination and administration of benefits for employees.
  • Ensure all company HR practices are in compliance with legislation, policies and procedures and generally accepted principles (GDPR knowledge).
  • Help all Managers and Supervisors to understand HR objectives and best practice provide training and support as needed.
  • Ensure all personnel records are updated and maintained with utmost confidentiality.
  • Maintain sponsorship records for incoming and employed Skilled Workers.
  • Support with employee absences, grievances, disciplinary action, underperforming performance reviews, terminations and exit interviews.
