Network Operations Transition Manager Salary -FTC 6 months plus £85,0000-£90,000 /£550-£650pdLocation -Great Manchester (Hybrid) -3 days on site Industry – ISP A leading ISP with offices in Greater Manchester are looking for a Network Operations Transition Manager to come on board for a project to transform the Network Operations Centre. The successful Network Operations Transition Manager will ideally have worked in a number of different organisations, where they have played an instrumental part in examining current processes and be able to implement a transition programme that will completely reshape the way the organisation is run.This would suit a candidate who has previously worked in a Network Operations Management role, or equally someone who has worked on complex transition programmes. Significant proven experience in comparable role within an ISP or Telecoms organizationPrevious extensive experience of building and developing a technical teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills Able to analyse problems, issues & needs and provide robust but adaptable solutions which meet current and future requirements The ability to handle objections and resistance to changeAbility to cope with changing environment – including adapting to meet emergency business-critical eventsEffectively plans and organises own workloadSelf-motivatedCapable of working under pressure/using own initiative with minimal supervisionTeam player, who contributes ideas and suggestions for improvementKeen interest in leading edge ISP technologiesHappy to challenge existing processes and proceduresPrevious supplier management experience essentialExposure to running projects effectively is essentialExperience of ITIL is desirable Experience of PRINCE2 is desirableExperience of ISO27001 is desirableThis role is a hybrid position, and although will require some time in the office (2-3 days a week) will also be offered as a hybrid role.
