CAM Programmer

Position: CAM Programmer Location: Bradford Role Summary: Recruit Engineering is looking for an experienced CAM Programmer for a client in Bradford. This position involves a combination of office-based programming and hands-on shop floor work. The ideal candidate will possess strong CNC milling skills, be proficient in CAD/CAM software (preferably OneCNC), and have experience in programming using Fanuc or Haas controls. Key Responsibilities: * Program CNC machining tasks using CAD/CAM software. * Operate CNC milling machines to produce precise parts based on specifications. * Optimise machine performance using G Codes. * Verify designs and tolerances to ensure the highest quality output. * Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment. * Collaborate with the team to improve production processes. Pay Rate: £18 – £19 per hour (depending on experience), with optional overtime available during day shifts. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a CNC Miller within precision engineering. * Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, with a preference for OneCNC. * Skilled in programming with G Codes. * Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications. * Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
