Export Operator- Erith - Basic Salary £30,000-£32,500 Per Annum DOE Plus Benefits! Export Operator- Role and Responsibilities * Work alongside and support the Operations Supervisor * Communicate with overseas agents * Liaise with hauliers, negotiate rates and prepare quotations * Organise customs clearance for imports and exports * Handle all documentation including commercial invoices, DGN and COO * Update CRM Export Operator – Skills and Experience * Previous experience working within the Freight Industry is essential - Road Freight- FTL / PTL /Groupage * Must have sound knowledge of both import and export processes (road) from start to finish * Previous experience with trade lanes: Covering all of Europe * Must have knowledge of how collections and distributions work within the UK * Knowledge of customs systems: CDS, NCTS, Sequoia, Destin8, CNS and GMR * Previous experience with Home Use, IPR, OPR (desirable) * Previous experience working with Commodity Codes / Incoterms (advantageous) * Previous experience raising EAD’s, T forms and IDR documents for all export and import shipments (advantageous) DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS GREAT OPPORTUNITY - APPLY NOW Get Staff acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers Please note that if you have not been contacted within 7 days, your application for this position has been unsuccessful.
