We are based on a wonderful two-acre site in Chertsey in three specialist buildings with great facilities for all ages, including: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, a specialist nursery, hydrotherapy, holiday clubs, personal support, short breaks (respite), fitness and rehabilitation and many activities such as trips out, arts, baking, swimming, and more.

If you are passionate about using your expertise to make a tangible difference in the lives of others, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
As a Trustee with a background in health and social care, your main duties will include:

- Upholding a collective and individual duty to act in the best interests of the Charity and its beneficiaries at all times.
- Maintaining the Boards independence and managing conflicts of interest effectively.

As a Trustee, your health and social care expertise will be complemented by the following:
- A strong understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities, and liabilities of Trusteeship.
- Professional and personal integrity, with sound independent judgment.
- The ability to think creatively.
- Confidence in voicing your opinions and perspectives.
Time Commitment
Trustee Board meetings are held quarterly, with additional sessions for in-depth reviews typically on an annual basis. Meetings usually occur in the evenings, and we encourage in-person attendance, though online participation is available.
Qualities We Seek
We are specifically looking for Trustees who bring the following to our Board:
- A qualification in Social Work or Health Care.
- A strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the health and social care sector.
- A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and the benefits of a diverse Board.
Personal & Professional Growth and Development
In addition to making a significant impact on the lives of those who rely on our services, trustees will have opportunities to expand their professional network, develop new skills, access a library of 201 online courses, and contribute to the strategic growth of a respected organisation.
