Job Role: Teacher of English Location: Newham Salary: £160 - £240 per day Start Date: October 2024 Contract Type: Full-time Exciting Opportunity for a Teacher of English (Maternity Cover) in Newham! Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English? We are looking for a dynamic Teacher of English (Maternity Cover) to join our mixed multicultural secondary school in Newham. This is an incredible opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and stimulating environment. Teacher of English Responsibilities: Teach English across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices. Support extracurricular activities related to English. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success. Teacher of English Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. Candidates must have QTS – without QTS, they will not be considered.
