Job Title: Controls & Electronics Engineer   Location: Glasgow, Scotland Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum Visa Sponsorship is available Excellent Benefits Package – See Below   Overview of company and job title: An award winning, established and leading successful Scientific Engineering organisation located in Glasgow (Scotland) who support other industries that include clinical research, academia, pharmaceuticals & biopharmaceuticals, food & drug testing and environmental testing have an exciting role to hire for a brand new Controls & Electronics Engineer to join the Technology & Design Engineering team and work at their high-tech Research & Design facility in Glasgow.   Salary on offer: The salary on offer for the successful Controls & Electronics Engineer is £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience. Visa Sponsorship is available for UK based candidates.   The role: The successful Controls & Electronics Engineer will work within a well-supported multidisciplined engineering team and to be responsible to design, develop, test and maintain the company’s Scientific products, technology and embedded systems.   Key Skills: 1-2+ years industry experience Experience of a controls software / electronics design focused role Software programming in C or C++ Experience of MATLAB, Simulink Embedded communication protocols – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, Ethernet etc PCB Design & Schematic Capture Embedded systems development, debugging and trouble-shooting Self-motivated, innovative, analytical and problem-solving skills Great teamwork and communication skillsBenefits Package: 31 days annual leave (27 days annual leave + 4 fixed public holidays) Flexible start times (between 7 and 9am) Holiday purchase scheme (up to an additional 5 days per annum) Additional annual leave for long service (5 years +1 day, 7 years +2 days, 9 years+ 3 days) 3 x annual salary life assurance Company pension scheme – 6% employer contributions + 5% employee contributions.
