General Manager Location: Cheltenham Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 Industry: Warehouse, Food An opportunity has opened for a General Manager to join a storage company based in Cheltenham. The ideal candidate will have an excellent background within operations, warehouse management and ideally have experience within the Food or Beverages industry. The company offer some great benefits including a generous car allowance as the role will require some travel to their other sites. What they’re looking for: * Experience working as a General Manager within a Warehouse / Factory environment * Strong management skills including a background of leading staff * Operations management knowledge and HR operations ideally * Food or Beverage industry experience would be a bonus * Experience driving Health and Safety procedures * Must have a UK Driving License * Great communication skills and experience in a supplier and customer facing position General Manager Responsibilities: * Taking lead in the operations of a busy warehouse environment * Managing employees ensuring and improving productivity * Ensure staff are inducted, trained and working to safety regulations * Conducting customer and supplier meetings and audits * Managing operations within the warehouses * Ensuring the warehouses are in line with QHSE standards If you could be interested in finding out more about the General Manager role, please apply with your latest CV
