Design Director

Reporting to the Managing Director and Chief Design Officer, you will oversee the design process, ensuring alignment with Maris' leading fit-out standards. Responsibilities will include assessing project design requirements, leading concept design and presentations, and collaborating with the project build team for successful implementation. Your main responsibilities will include: * Assessing project design requirements for Maris' fit-out standards. * Demonstrating a deep understanding of the client journey and internal processes. * Attending and contributing to client presentations and client meetings. * Managing space planning, concept design, and presentation schemes following Maris' Design Process. You will have a relevant degree in Interior Design or Architecture, coupled with over 5 years of industry experience in the corporate office interiors sector. Demonstrating a proven ability, you will excel in pitching and managing design and build projects, specifically those valued up to £20m. Your skill set includes a comprehensive working knowledge of all relevant requirements and codes. Proficiency in utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, along with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and Revit, will be integral to your success. Additionally, your proficiency in hand sketching will further contribute to your capabilities in this dynamic role.
