Harte Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Manager to lead a thriving lettings team in Huddersfield! In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind the lettings operation, taking charge of every aspect from start to finish. As Lettings Manager , you'll have the unique opportunity to work in a 360-degree capacity, where no two days are the same. You will oversee the entire lettings journey, from sourcing and securing new business to managing property viewings, conducting valuations, and negotiating tenancies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring a seamless experience for both landlords and tenants, as well as maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance. In addition to managing the lettings process, you'll play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors. You'll have the freedom to innovate and grow the business portfolio, expanding the companys footprint in Huddersfields vibrant property market. With a strong focus on team leadership, you will also mentor and inspire a talented team of lettings agents, driving them to exceed targets and deliver outstanding results. The package Up to £28,000 basic salary per annum ( DOE )

22 days holiday + bank holidays
08:45 17:30 (1 hour lunch) + alternate Saturdays, with day off in lieu during the week
The Lettings Manager role Managing and developing a portfolio of properties
Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors
Conducting property viewings, valuations, and inspections
Negotiating lettings agreements and managing the tenancy process
Ensuring all properties comply with legal requirements and regulations
Handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Developing new business opportunities and expanding the lettings portfolio
Leading, coaching, and mentoring a small team of lettings agents
Working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless service to all clients
The person Proven experience in a similar role within the lettings industry
Strong knowledge of the local property market
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
A proactive and results-driven attitude
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
Full UK driving license ( essential )
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
A good understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements
